Vogue SE - Rear Seat Heat/Cool controls?

Does anyone know how the rear seat heater/cooling controls are supposed to work on a MY07 Vogue SE? There are two rotating knobs. One for hot and cold control (LHS), and one for what looks like a fan speed control (RHS). I can get the rear seats to heat but not to cool. Its not an essential function but the RR is still under LR warranty and I want to get any faults fixed before it runs out later this year. The handbook is useless - doesn't even show the 'fan' control. All pointers welcome.

The rear seats don't have cooling, it's only the fronts that do. The knobs are to control the temp and fan speed for the rear A/c, which can be switched on and off by the switch on the front centre console

Thanks and accept the explanation but don't understand why LR use the same hot(red)/cold(blue) controller as for the front seats if the cold function isn't available - most confusing for the casual user of the controls.

I'm confused. I don't think heating/cooling was available in MY07 in the rear. In my MY11.5 an option I had was rear seat recline which included heating and cooling. The controls for this are on the rear doors and has the control you describe - 3 stage, anticlockwise (blue) for cooling and clockwise for heating (red). The heat/cool controls are identical to those found in the front. The central push button adjusts whether you want the ventilation on back, seat bottom or both (not fan speed). This is done via the 3 stages.

Dont really see the confusion the rear heated seat controls are the buttons in the middle of the controls, the red/blue symbols refer to rear heating ie hotter or colder and the other controls the fan speed, this is only as long as the rear temp control switch on the centre console is pressed ,if not then the rear gets the same temp as the front.
Simples!! Ex D1, D2, D3 owner now 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE

Ah, gotcha! Me being a bit thick here.

So LR use the same control in the rear as they do in the front but it has a different function in the rear.

Simples Laughing
