What's far worse IMO in the UK is the increasing number of cars (usually "supercars" ) with no front number plate. Just this week there were pictures plastered all over "soshul meedya" of a guy collecting his new GT4 from the dealers which didn't have a front plate fitted. It seems Porsche UK must have now added "number plate delete" to the options list!

its been a while since my last post here ....'bob' has been behaving properly and has had no issues except for the small dent in the off side rear which was my fault and i'm to embarrassed to say any more about it.

I cut up an old bath towel into facecloth size squares. One to wash them, and one to polish them then bin them.

I probably should read back the way and see if this comment has been made before. Obviously illegal is illegal and I’ve no problem with that when I got fined for doing 35 in a 30 limit at first I thought where’s the harm (it was 6.30 in the morning) but that’s not for me to decide, there were plenty of 30 signs so I rationalised my fine as a fine for being stupid. No, what really gets my goat is that DVLA continue to offer plates that encourage misspacing (is that a word?) at a premium price. Geoff |

I know they are expensive, but do a search for' Wheel Woolies'. I've been using mine for over 4 years and they are great for getting into the inside of the wheels and they are just as good as the day I bought them. |

@geoff, the most frustrating point is that the dvla van read my illegally spaced plate so that to send me a fine..
