I got a quotation through from Motorway.co.uk back in March and I have just had a revised quote today and the value of the car has increased by £3.5k Shocked Shocked Apparently good second hand L405's are in short supply

Anyone else have any views on the market for L405's at the moment?

Cheers,

Andy

So are L322's

I am told by a big used dealer here in Manchester. Some L322's in good condition are up 20%

1. Congrats, lovely vehicle!
2. Any context? Private or trade, how full loaded with extras, etc?

@Monkeyman

I got it from The Voguecentre.
Extras:
Deployable tow bar
360 cameras
Adaptive cruise with QA and emergency breaking
Pan roof.

TBH not sure wat is standard and what is extra on the AB and I can't get into Topix to get a build sheet Big Cry

I had a look at some cars at the vogue centre, they were all sensibly priced.

Electronic Towbars are feeling and far between, so that’s a nice thing to have, especially as they cost 3k to be retrofitted!

Pretty sure the cameras and adaptive cruise are standard on the AB, as is the glass roof.

Having a warranty is a lot of peace of mind. Can you imagine dropping that money on a private sale and the car falling apart as you drove it away…..

That’s a lot of car for the money, 57k miles ago it was over £100k!

Sounds like a nice motor. Have you had a L322?

I am currently looking to buy a L405 and have noticed that prices seem inflated. A friend of mine has a second hand car pitch selling prestige stuff and he is currently 25-30 cars down on what stock he normally has for sale. He even says the auctions are quiet. He has been buying privately as auctions/trade prices are sky high Paul

Only took the 405 for a quick spin and didn't seem much different TBH, but it is more powerful / lighter and aerodynamic, so I guess it will be a much better ride, even if it doesn't appear to be as imposing.

@NBunney - sounds very similar to what I’m looking for!

Vogue Centre isn’t too far from me so will keep an eye on what’s in stock.

Enjoy your new car.

Good to see it is the same for L322's as well. I wonder what has caused the rise in secondhand prices. Supply and demand I suppose Rolling Eyes SDV8 AB MY 2019

Price is always about supply and demand and apparently dealers are after good stock. I’ve had half an eye on a couple of SVAs, one in Croydon and the other in Edinburgh. Both started at near £80k but both have dropped £5k in the last week or so. But midrange L405s and RRS SVRs seem to hold on price.

I put my car details into the new AU website just to see what they valued it at and it came back at £33k. Funnily enough that is the same as the finance settlement figure. Coincidence?

I’m almost tempted to make a lowball offer on one of those SVAs, but I really like the car I have.

It’s tempting Stan, but I’m thinking if I’m going to splash out, I might as well pay off the current car. It’s only got 43k on it, is in my favoured colour combo and has been faultless.
