L405 secondhand prices

I like to keep half an eye on the value of the Fatty, even if I am not selling, it's always good to know how much money I am chucking down the loo each month due to depreciation Mad Sad

I got a quotation through from Motorway.co.uk back in March and I have just had a revised quote today and the value of the car has increased by £3.5k Shocked Shocked Apparently good second hand L405's are in short supply

Anyone else have any views on the market for L405's at the moment?

Cheers,

It’s hard to compare over time, as every car has its own attractions and turn-offs: colour, leather, mileage, equipment, etc. If I set a search for the exact spec that is on mine, then it would cost me £2.5-3k more today than I paid 2 months ago.

I feel better now, thanks Smile

Used values are very strong at the moment, which is excellent if you're just selling, pretty good if you're buying new, but not great if you're moving up to a more expensive used car. I put mine into Motorway and it was £8k less than I paid 12 months ago, but I expected it to drop quite a bit more than that (£12k-15k in the first year of my ownership).

There isn't anything this side of a new 992 that I want to swap my wife's Golf R for at the moment (not an option for a couple of years due to kids), but I put it into Motorway and even before adding the options it came back with £25k. I know from browsing a forum that slightly lesser spec cars of a similar age/mileage are going for £26k+. We paid £34.5k for it 34 months and 26k miles ago, which is astonishingly low depreciation. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

I did that as soon as I bought it, just to see if I got a good price. They offered 6k less than I paid, which wasn’t absolutely terrible when you consider what a trade in gets, then they had a dealer repeatedly calling me up and offering more until I had to say “stop”. So depressing, and then reassuring!

I get bombarded with unsolicited emails. Most of them come though LinkedIn, which is annoying, but I need to stay on the platform.

I tried blocking people, sending them to junk, unsubscribing, etc. None of it made a blind bit of difference.

Now I write back to them all (male and female) and demand s€x in a hot tub. Guaranteed to make them stop hassling you. And if anyone replies in the affirmative, that’s a Bruce Bonus!

Large cars and 7 seaters are in high demand on the used market right now. Friend of ours moved to Singapore last year so she put her XC90 on autotrader at a fair price. Sold in less than 2 days!

I'd happily sell mine tomorrow, but just what do you replace it with?

Have noticed prices increasing myself as I scroll the classifieds.

I’m in the market for a 4.4 SDV8 SE/Autobiography 2015-2016MY and was hoping to pay circa £30k but can’t seem to find many that aren’t £35k+.

I currently lease so used car values on the general increase isn’t any help to me I’m afraid!
