Using that is not caravanning, it's called 'moving house' |

It’s amazing how much stuff you carry around in the tin tent.

I think so. Phil Narey spoke about building one for himself which was a 520 TA. I’m pretty sure this was the last 640 built. I had it on a 2500kg chassis to account for all the “anti old bloke” equipment I had fitted. Auto levelling, auto seek dish, A/C and AWD movers. Hopefully it means I can keep doing it for many years to come. |

That looks nice NMJ Bailey’s are not bad I had a Unicorn Seville for a couple of years in between Vanmaster’s apart from making the bed up good caravan nothing broke but Vanmaster’s are like Fattys once you have had one it doesn’t matter what you have afterwards you keep comparing them and then go back. It’s a shame they no longer make them I saw Steve the other week needed a couple of things for mine and I was asking him if people are still ringing up asking for new ones, he still has the jigs but not the room to build them the last one he sold he said was £78000!!! You can imagine that and a new Fatty your knocking on the door of £200k. |

That wasn’t mine at that price. Mine was priced at £65k but eventually agreed £60k. I got a further £2k by selling my old van rather than part ex’ing. Maybe second from last. 🤷♂️ |

In todays market, anyone with the know how and capability has to be thinking that building vans is a no brainer. When I went to the dealer to buy mine the car park was full at 10 mins past opening....3-4 vans and motorhomes per day going out of the door. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I was at Highbridge caravan centre in Newton Abbott in April and they were completely sold out having sold 15 to 20 motorhomes per day. These were units selling up between £70,000 and £90,000 each. They had no stock at all between all three of their centres. Nice work if you can get it. |

Dropped my Van off at the dealer for appraisal, the chap spent a good hour in there and suffice to say they found all the damp I knew about and some extra bits. Chipped me a bit but tbh its still in the ballpark of where I wanted to be for it and they are not going to retail it, its off to auction.
