Oh no! Dynamic suspension default

Hi,

I have had my first default today on my FFRR Supercharged.
"Dynamic suspensions default".
The height seems normal, I can change the car heigh, but the special programs dont operate and the car but the suspension feels very stiff.
I stopped and restarted the car, but the default stays.

Any ideas?
Do I need to go to LR?

Hi! Not sure what year your car is, but the usual suspect to start with is the wires to the top of the front suspension struts which break over time.
Think you need to remove the metal top cover cap to inspect the area that usually breaks.
Later models have revised wires to help prevent this.
Other members have posted advice on fixes and there is a fix kit available from Land Rover to replace the wires with the upgraded version. 2012 Westminster TDV8 4.4 Indus Silver

Exactly RichT. Sounds like "Adaptive Dynamics Fault" . Check out this post below and do a bit of Googling Cedric.
It is a super common L322 fault - easy and inexpensive to fix.

The wiring on top of a rear damper has also been known to fail, but not nearly as likely as on the front dampers because they swivel.

Surprise two: it had already been fixed and it broke again.

The replacement wiring kit would certain offer a more long term solution but it does look like you have enough wire to attempt soldering in a short piece of replacement wire as a fix for now. 2012 Westminster TDV8 4.4 Indus Silver

Cedwat - I recommend installing the proper replacement kit.

That wire is fixable but they are brittle, it will only go again in another section at an inconvenient time.

The kits are better than the original design. Duckworth had the best price when I ordered mine a year ago.
