I can connect my iPhone to the RR so it shows a tick and although the vehicle is connected to my external WiFi at home I cannot access a web search on my iPhone.
I have a current micro sim inserted which has plenty of available data on it.
Can any connectivity expert explain where I am going wrong?

Yes that is already done .all is as it should be but still no access

Has it worked before? If so take the sim out, clean the contact area and re-insert. If that doesn't work try another sim card and if still no joy it could be the sim reader has stopped working and needs replacing. All LR cars from 1984

Yes data roaming is on on iPhone. I have had car 4 months and never had it working ( so far)
I will try cleaning the contacts

The contacts on the sim are clean. When I bought the car there was no sim inserted but Marshall Peterborough supplied one.

What Simcard is it? Is it data only, have you tried the sim in your phone?

The best one is from 3. It's called "Internet with Legs" and you have a choice of card size.

I think I'd call the dealer and tell him it isn't working and let them deal with it, if it's all still in Warranty. All LR cars from 1984

It is a Ubigi micro sim as provided by our local JLR dealer in Peterborough.
The car is still under its original warranty and I am it’s sec owner.
I have managed to get the line of first prior to the signal bars. The Ubigi online instructions says connect can take up to two minutes but I have waited much longer than that. We do live in the country so I will keep an eye to see if a set of bars finally
Arrive . If not a visit to Marshalls may well be the next step!

Is your SIM card internet data only? The dealer should have provided the correct one but you never know. I’ve never heard of the one you’ve got. I presume it fits the slot ok and is not loose or has to be forced? All LR cars from 1984

I also have the same in an I-PACE so may try that. It fits the slot well and you can see track marks on the metal surface

I presume it is data only. At present the capacity is replenished once a month by JLR but the current one shows zero usage

My I-PACE picks up 4G straight away and is 500mb. It’s card does not work in the Range Rover though whose card is 100mb only. I don’t know why the I-PACE card wouldn’t work in the RR unless there is a fault in the card reader. Do you think the card should be interchangeable?
