Hey John thanks for that useful bit of info there. I had a very interesting conversation with a nice lady from Overfinch this afternoon which has got me rather excited. As you know, you can order the authenticity certificate for your Overfinch online, however, it only goes back to 2012 and not before that. So i decided to call them where the lady told me that when Overfinch was bought out, all the archives pre 2012 were no longer available. So she asked me for the registration and ViN number and said she'll check just on the off chance it might still be in the system. Eureka! It was, however she couldn't view it as it was restricted access for her. She then started to get excited saying that it's highly unusual for why my car is still on their system pre 2012 and why she couldn't access the files. So she told me to order as normal online and use the 2012 drop-down and to put a message in the notes box explaining that i spoke to her and the reason I'm using the online service and to pay as normal. She said she will then inform the person who deals with the certificates who is in the next office and should receive the certificate in the next few days. So watch this space. Soon as i get it i will let you know what work Overfinch has done to my car.

Oh and it does have the Brembo brake upgrade though not painted red. So there's been some money spent on the conversation. If you would like more pics John, just let me know and I'll take some for you. I do know it has the ebony and cream leather, with piano black air vent surrounds, centre console strips and in the rear. |

No problem, when they did the certificate for me they confirmed the spec from the photographs taken outside Overfinch HQ pre the takeover and the move tobLeeds which I had received from the outgoing CEO Bob Dover when it was commissioned for him in 2009. I had a mail from Bob as provenance but they were incredibly helpful in confirming the spec . Your right to have a detailed record post the takeover is unusual, it may have been a conversion took place at a later stage ie not from new which is not unusual as it can be done at any time. They should have the full detail for you. Holland and Holland Range Rover By Overfinch |

Wow John your Overfinch must look spectacular, do you have any pics of it? The lady at Overfinch did say they might request some photos of mine. |

That’s great all good to know and good to have on file if you pass the vehicle on. I never doubted yours but there’s a stack of fake and unofficial conversions from parts out there, seen quite a few over the years. The rimini red is a belting colour. Holland and Holland Range Rover By Overfinch |

Thanks John, the moment i seen it i knew i just had to have it. My mate has a RRS SC in the same colour, but he loves mine more, he wants first refusal of i ever sell it. Only drawback is everyone keeps taking photos of it and want to chat about it, usually when I'm in a rush lol.

Barmybrummie, great looking FF, perfect combination...I saw it on eBay a few months ago and was sorely tempted but spent too much on my current Overfinch! Get the EGRs blanked as soon as possible. Enjoy the experience! |
