Thanks guys, I think it's becoming an obsession. Considering I had my Saab aero for 9 years and always kept it tip top, I never waxed that much, about 3 times a year. Who thought? A fattie could change a man |

OMG I drove my car home in the early hours of this morning from Bristol and it's the first time I've driven my car in the dark and just found out that it's got ambient lighting in the all the door handles and door pockets as well as in the roof panels front and rear where the courtesy lights are. I've had the car for over 2 months and only just found this out. I was that excited finding that out that I woke my missus up when I got home to tell her at 2am |

Nice, makes it more of an occasion I’m sure. Things like that do feel like a big win.

You have 2 great cars there John with the H&H and Toyota, some serious provenance on them. Would add some serious selling value on them should you wish to sell. |

Bought an overfinch steering wheel from chefkenmore and fitted it this morning. Also fitted the electronics into the wheel too for the paddles to work. Next job, fitting the electronics by the gearstick so will have full paddle shift function. And poor chef in true Scottish fashion is effing and jeffing, would hate to be his neighbour |

Thanks guys, fitted the electronics this morning while I got the time and feels amazing using the paddle shift so much better than waiting for the delayed kickdown when you floor it. |

Thanks, it's lovely and chunky, feels amazing in the hands. Missus not happy with what I spent on the wheel, but then I don't moan when a new handbag and shoes turn up lol. |

The lighting from the roof is called Waterfall Lighting. It came as part of the BMW involvement. My 1988 735i had it too.
