Hi,

Hope you`re doing well

I woud like to change filters and the desiccant material that goes inside the air compressor dryer and I wuld like to know if I have to take all into bits or I can take off the dryer alone?

I hope I´ve explained my shelf

Thank you

This is my compressor

The workshop manual (look in the Wiki) states the compressor is removed for the dessicant renwal. The info on the intake filter is also in the WM.

As the compressor has to end up on the work bench, it may be a good idea to overhaul the compressor at the same time - Depending upon how old the car is, compressor / system performance etc. Saves you doing the job twice, and it is not expensive to do.

Thank you all

I will check the wiki and see If I can manage to do the job myself

And good point to renew the compressor as it is going to be out. I will try to find a shop in Spain that could do the job 2012 Range Rover 4.4 tdv8 Autobiography
