Following morning went back started up warmed up touched brake pedal normal so into D and drove home normally! Friend in total shock what how when? His parting comments. Fickle these FFRRs like a fit bird, look lovely on the arm but can do much drama. Anyhow I drove her home and she put her lippy and high heels back on! lol.

When I've had an ABS sensor on the blink on a L322, it feels like the brakes are applied and the car wants to stop all on it's own. Can't recall the peddle being hard though?? It can be driven if enough throttle applied.

Whenever I lend anything to a “mate” I normally tell them “If you break it you buy it” as they leave the driveway.....😉

Maybe take the abs module off and find a place that can test it mate. Not sure what they charge but I remember wheeler dealers doing that and only got charged £250 all be it 10 year ago |

Think I dare say it was the YAW Sensor and despite Gap telling me it doesn't have one! I found one on Ebay and an article suggested a fault in 2003-2004 that causes the above fault. After finding it (rear of centre console bolted to the floor, plug is facing rear floor carpet)
