Like you, an SDV8 and like you I get high 30s on a long motorway type run and mid 20s - low 30s bumbling about. Tank range is around 500 miles of mixed driving. |

SDV8 and I get around 32-33 at most on a long motorway run and just under 30 on average. That’s according to the fuel computer though, which is one of the least accurate of any car I’ve had, so 33mpg is only a fraction over 30mpg.

4.4 SDV8 - drove down to southern Spain last summer. Averaged 30mpg at an average of 70mph (without stops) over 1500 miles. So comfortable MY23 D350 HSE

If you really want to know what your car's mpg is, then download a free app, I use "RoadTrip MPG Lite". Very simple to use.

Absolutely. I bought my SDV8 for the comfort (for touring) and not for the fuel economy. Having previously owned some very thirsty cars I am actually quite happy with the mileage I get from a full-tank on mine Current Vogue SE 4.4 SDV8 Previous highlights Many Mini's! I changed from a 5.0L supercharged petrol to a 4.4 SDV8 because I didn't like keep filling her up - it was a nuisance - now I only go once a week

Supershuttle.... I’m in danger of wandering of topic into well tread territory here but how different is the 4.4 to the 5.0 in real world driving?
