Beep on unlock

I have a 2011 L322 which gives me a double beep on unlock but not on lock.

I only got the car this evening so don't really know where to start with this!

Any advice??

Thanks!!

So if I remember right, the double beep means it thinks something is open, so it won’t lock or set the alarm..... is that what yours is doing? It’s not locking is it?

Or is it locking and unlocking fine, but not the beeps you want?

Is there not an option if you go into the car setup menu using the steering wheel buttons.... ie the menu next to the speedo....

So,

Locks fine, no beeps
Double locks fine, no beeps

Double beeps on unlock, but unlocks fine.

It might be right, but as the car is new to me I'm not certain!!

Mine doesn’t beep at all, but I know you can change stuff for the alarm as below. Possibly correct, as you say, but worth looking in the settings to try it.

OK, Do you have diagnostics equipment? Something like IID? You need to first check the CCF files as this is how the bleeps are switched off/on both on lock & unlock Thumbs Up

CCF could have been updated as Craig says. Most of us have an IID Bluetooth. Invaluable for lots of things if you run an L322... Whistle Rolling Eyes Laughing Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

That’s good then. As above, clear it and see if it comes back, though from what you have found, it might start bleeping again.
