When faced with a red wire and a brown wire it would be reasonable to assume that red is positive and brown is ground wouldn’t it? Well apparently not if you’re Land Rover

L322 originally used BMW wiring spec though, so brown=ground instead of the usual black=ground. But this did change on later models, from 2010MY I think the L322 had been completely "rewired" to LR spec colours. |
