I did my 2010 when the tailgate got replaced in 2014 after someone damaged it still rust free si it’s deffo worth the effort |

Jim, I believe Lanoguard is colourless/opaque ?, may I ask does it smell and which kit did you buy to do the tailgate, did you use the 360 sprayer? Ta Maccaa Current FF Westminster 4.4 V8 |

Yes. As far up either side as I could and all along the bottom.

Having done a tailgate replacement this week, I'm currently choking on the fumes of the waxoyl that has now drowned the replacements interior |

Lanoguard is similar to what Fluid Film/Wool Wax here in the US. Thats currently what im using, but my issue is that it drips none stop in the summer since it stays "fluid". I have a donor rust free tailgate from another Rover that was also painted the Santorini Black like mine (Super lucky). Im debating if I want to keep my tailgate on until mine rust through or just replace it and spray a different rust inhibitor since its rust free so I won't get the drippage from the stuff I spray |

It will pass....I used Dynax on my top tailgate and it stank for a few days... I sprayed it through the drain holes and rammed my probe in to the max    Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Would this be something you would touch up maybe annually? They say its a waxy/soft finish that can self heal, are you able to confirm if this is really the case? I found two articles that say interesting test results. Im deciding between Dynax S50 or Noxudol 700 and the first link shows Noxudol finishing first and Dyanx in 5th but then in the second link in a test for Dynax it looks like Dynax did really well but Noxudol not as well.
