If you put your registration number into Halfords it will tell you which ones will suit... Pete

If you already have orange (OAT) in then use that. Don't mix as the blue and orange react and form a gel like substance which clogs the system (so I have reliably been informed). There is lots on here ref coolant so a search might provide further authority. |

Halfords checker can't be right as it comes up with every type of coolant under the sun for my FFRR when I put the registration in, G48, G40, OAT, Silicate based, etc. Don't know if that's just me?

Having just had my oil cooler changed by my outstanding, 25 yr LR experienced indie, along with a full coolant change, he has put this in. But mines a diesel 4.4TDV8 - just seen yours is a SC 4.2 so may be different.
