What are you going to ask your to do sir? Replace like for like? Or make replacements in copper?

had mine done last year in copper think it was about £250 all in plus mot |

4 hours labour at most for a decent garage to tackle this (probably less if they've done it before) + £10's worth of Cunifer pipe. If rear flexi's are replaced at the same time, then another £40 at best (if they use non genuine), so all up I'd be happy to pay an indy around £300 for this job.

Pretty sure I paid £280 ish in January. Mine had actually split though, so pedal went soft. Went down further which stuffed the seals in the master cylinder. Needed a new one of those, so total Bill about £669.

Sounds like a great price. It'd be worth them doing the rear flexi hoses (which are part flexi and part steel which corrodes) at the same time if they arent already.

If you intend to keep the car, I would replace the flexis with braided stainless steel ones. Will last forever then. Did this on my D3 when I replaced the brakes all round (discs, pads and callipers)
