Has anybody removed this panel? "Only" appears to be 7 clips does it come off fairly easily? Just wanting to clean up and check for rust, can't see any.
Also on another subject, when alarm is activated should anything flash? I have a red light in middle of dash but that doesn't do anything as far as I can see.

Yes it comes off but the clips tend to break...

I'd wait until a nice hot day in the summer, park it back to the sun, have a few bears and wait for it to get real hot then pull it off, less clips will break..!!

The bottom tailgates are pretty good, they don't tend to rust....

Never set my alarm off so can't answer the other bit.... Pete
