B is Black Bl is Blue Br is Brown If there are two letters like B/R this would signify Black/Red (usually a Black wire with a Red tracer line through it...) If your looking for an ignition live then they are never going to be Black or Brown as they are always an "E" (earth) Have a google search sir, there are plenty of guides available |

Many thanks, really appreciate the info. I've googled it and while I've found various guides for various DRLs and controllers and installs for the wire splices mainly for the RRS I haven't found one that matches this type of DRL and my desired functionality of DRL on with ignition and off with side/headlights on.

I got hold of a good quality UK made switch and spent the last few hours taking the car apart (ehy on earth does the bumper need to come off to take out a headlamp!!!)
