By factoring in that the vast majority see out mega mileages with few issues. Keeping on top of maintenance and changing things like EGRs as service items. Never had a sleepless night owning a 3.6, 4.4 or my current SDV8 There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I think I recall last year 2020(?) that JC mentioned in his 'newspaper' column that his local LR garage had killed his otherwise OK running RR (OK suggested) after it had had a full service or such?!? Or maybe I'd spent a tad too long using contact adhesive trying to bodge my leaking all-weather boots, as the candle wax treatment from five years ago was beginning to wear off?!?
