And in response to can you trust any garages, yes, they are out there, but you need to get on the inside, our local friendly is great, would I trust him with an engine swap on a RR...... probably because I know he’s done one on his own 494 which he bought with a bust engine.

They get all our cars/trucks/Vans as they will bosh them ASAP and generally they work afterwards. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Yes, I finished them all yesterday. Really really enjoyed it. I’m guessing he bought the RR new back in 2007 or whenever, and it got demoted to farm as he moved through newer cars. You can see his L405 in a couple of shots, so I’m guessing that’s his daily.

Now watching the series, brilliant so far, as in above post, the young lad does not take prisoners, and he was the only one who liked Clarkson's monster tractor

I love the way they ALL take the mick out of Clarkson. The manager / planning / accountant chappie is so dry, he is superb, his facial expressions are magic, he says little but his face gives him away.

As for the older dry stone wall builder guy, does anyone else understand what he was saying, I got about 30%

Only seen the first two episodes so far, have to wait till tonight for more, watched the first two with the petrol head daughter who likes Clarkson, and have been told that if I don't wait for her return from work I am in deep dooDoo's.

Big laugh was the daughter telling me that the Guardian newspaper, ( which is full of people who hate Clarkson with a passion ) has given the series rave reviews

My favourite comment so far was Clarkson's comment about diversity regarding all the 60 year old grey haired men at the farm machinery auction, He hasn't changed That had me in stitches

The young lad is hilarious, especially charging to tow people out of the farm shop car park
The dry stone wall guy reminds me of the farmer in hot fuzz
and the killjoy accountant/manager guy who just puts the mockers on everything he does
