I have had a RR for 16 days now and due to the lockdown have covered approx 50 miles, which includes the 40 miles for pick up!
I have always wanted a FFRR so I’m now the proud owner of a 2016 TDV8 Autobiography!

Hello everyone,
after lusting after Range Rovers (and all other Land rover products) since the 1980's, I have finally taken the plunge and purchased a 92k mile 3.6 TDV8. It is fantastic! There is a growing list of little jobs I want to do on top of rectifying the advisories from the last MOT. The jobs can provide as much enjoyment as the driving - most of the time anyway...

Just upgraded from a 2005 D3 to a TDV8 4.4, Vogue, 2011, 54K (miles not price lol).

WOW! I knew it would be good - the pickup when you pull away! after my tired old D3 I nearly crashed into the traffic calming bollards outside the dealers on the test drive, squeezed the throttle as normal and was across the wrong side of the road in a split second.
But you guys know that already, lots of smiles per hour!

I've been on the sister D3 site for years, not really contributing as there were far more knowledgeable people on there to advise people with problems.
But I have a huge amount of gratitude for all the info I made use of to keep my D3 running.

So only natural I came here to do research before taking the plunge.
I've already learnt so much from the guys on here, reading through the Wiki.
So I just wanted to introduce myself and say a Huge THANK YOU to all the people that have collated such a huge resource of information.
I will be dipping in and availing myself of the information as and when I need it. Anything can be made to work if you fiddle with it long enough (and have deep pockets|)

Am looking at an L322 tomorrow, 2012. Allegedly a Westminster on the description, but doesnt have the badge on it.

Got an early D3 Petrol V8 currently, and always fancied a WM after my dad had one a few years back.

Will let you know if i take the plunge and part with some cash!

Looking at buying an L322 in the coming months. No previous RR experience but did have the misfortune of having to drive a Land Rover Defender 90 pickup on the farm until it was recently sold. I'm almost 6ft 3 and we weren't a good match!

Not that there was ever much doubt about it really. Will put some pics up later in the week when i pick it up.

Now. need to sell the V8 D3, as not sure i will be allowed to keep both, as well as the other 3 cars we have.

There’s no going back now. Other than my defender for doing its thing, I don’t think I’ll ever drive another car.

You’ll find a wealth of knowledge on here and if you’re handy with the tools, you’ll be able to keep your running costs down (a bit!).
