Heating issues

Hi all

So ive noticed this morning there appears tii be a slight issue with my heating unit on a 2003 v8. I've noticed the passenger side works as it should however the driver side just blows hot air all the time (bit like my ex 😂)

Anyone on here happen too have any ideas. I've had a look through on tee search but can't find anything similiar

Cheers all

I had exactly the same. Common problem this one you need to change this its buried on the right had side as you look at the engine.

Part ordered so let's see how hard this is to change and if it does the job for me.

Thinking about it now, I did notice the driver side vents always seemed slightly warmer then the passenger side when set to the coldest setting even without the air con

Three jubilee clips one multi plug and wiggle it out the rubber bush mounts, long arms and lowered suspension helps as well.

Sounds easy enough. Am I right in thinking it's on the passenger side of the engine bay

Yes interior balance, the unit has a valve for each side, left and right.

Yep sorted mine. Took all of 30 mins too change. Just invest in a 6mm spanner for cracking the jubilee clips off before unscrewing them

Ok I have just found what I need to replace but how did you do it? I can barely see it yet alone remove it and replace. Is there a guide somewhere?
