Its the same type of connector as the radiator end - but apparently the internal O-ring sticks itself to the outlet pipe and so is difficult to remove - I had the same problem trying to remove that connection when doing the thermostat mod. The connector would move a millimetre or two but that was it. It's easy to cut the retaining ring round the hose off with a Dremel and replace with a Jubilee clip (so replace the hose but not that end connector). |

Yep, I was doing the thermostat mod as well. Before, the needle would just get a tiny bit past the blue. Now sits at 12 o'clock. |
