On the later L322's you really have to use the designated JLR diagnostics to locate issues, they can read to a much deeper level than any other including Snap-On etc

The garage uses Autologic, and I ran the JLR version of icarsoft. The both said the same thing. I instructed the garage to send the unit for testing as a precaution. |

The repair company has said they abs module has passed. The garage stuck it back on and the errors cam back straight away.

Do you think the Gap tool will tell you more than the Autologic that the garage has or the icarsoft unit I have used? I have read a load of stuff on this type of fault and it appears it could be a number of things. I had noticed before the car was collected that the steering sensor was showing a crazy angle on the icarsoft tool, I have told them this, however, like most professionals you never believe the customer.

So it’s still in the garage but the mechanic is back. They plugged the abs unit back in and the errors popped back up. They have noticed that the voltage to the fuses drops to 10v when the unit is plugged in but they show 12v when it isn’t.

So the garage has emailed, looks like a wiring fault. |

They have fixed it there was a open short on one of the wires. They have it this out and replace it so it looks like it’s all good I should get the car back today. |

To be honest I’m not actually sure which wire, I have a lot on and those things have been a higher priority in my life.
