Yes there was air in the brakes. My local guy was back at work and I gave him a hand bleeding them, he got air out of the front and rear.
Pedal feels much better.

Wires have a mind of their own, I had a Mini Cooper [BMW] that wouldn't connect the OBD port to the scanner, turned out there was a broken wire between the two......how does that happen? but it does!
Glad it's all sorted. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!
