Hello i have just joined up , i had my L405 about 11 months and love the car.

However i have a couple of questions if possible. The car has lots of option but appears to have no tpms, also it has no stop start from what i can see ( when did stop start become standard rad ?) also mention in the options is fuel burning heater , what does this mean .

TPMS was an option for 2013 - another year or so before the EU made it mandatory - late 2014 I think.

Stop/start around the same time, but I've yet to find anyone who really likes it as a feature.

FBH is a pre-heater. An option, but if fitted you should have a small remote that can power it on. You can also program it from the menus to come on at a specific time. As the name suggests, it uses some fuel and runs a small unit, so that when you get out to the car, it is already warm.

Build sheet says no FBH or TPMS.

It looks like you’ve got Stop/Start, that’s either not operating which is a common occurrence. Or it might be switched off, the switch is on the centre console and you get a light on the dash when it’s switched off.

Actually, re-reading it you may not have Stop/Start

The build sheets are always hard to read, but I interpreted a Standard starter motor to exclude stop/start

On the FBH - I missed the Park Heat - which means that the FBH won't work independently when the ignition is off - it will still help the car heating get up to temperature faster than waiting for the engine alone. THere's some info on it here
