United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Corris Grey
T91 or T91R FBH Fob

Well, after much searching and reading, I was lead to believe I couldn’t use a T91R fob with my 2011 Vogue SE which is fitted with the T91 Receiver
In the end I spoke to Rob in Duckworths and he found the correct part for my RR. It arrived and guess what....it’s a T91R but it has on and off buttons. I always thought the T91R wouldn’t work but it worked straight away once it sync’d first time.
Here’s some pics of the various codes in the packaging

This seems to be a very common theme with the FBH units fitted to the later L322 models. It's not so much about the part numbers for the Fobs and Receivers, but about what they have written on the buttons. If any Fob has the ON/OFF buttons then they will be T91 models, if they have HEATER LOGO/OFF Buttons on them they will be T91R models. It looks like JLR just shoved any old stickers available onto the Fobs and Receivers as they were building the vehicles. My 2012 4.4TDV8 Westminster has a Receiver with a sticker that clearly states Telestart T91R on it, but it won't work with a T91R Fob, only a T91 Fob.

Typical JLR if you ask me!! Whistle Whistle

I think you will find that is a T91 fob to operate a T91R telestart receiver. The T91R fob is digital and not analogue and can only be used with digital receivers, the receiver in your RR will be an analogue one they went digital in the L405 etc 2010 3.6TDV8 Stornoway Grey/ Black interior - gone
2005 4.4V8 (M62) Bonatti Grey/ Parchment interior - gone
1998 4.6HSE Blue/ Cream interior (can't remember exact colours) - gone
1977 White - gone (should have kept)

Strange.....the sticker says T91R. Haven’t a clue how LR label stock if what you say is the case

It works for me and that’s all I’m worried about.....just thought I’d let everyone know what I was sent by LR

Regards
Mark

The main identifier is the Landrover Part Number.
The T91 Fob has the number: LR027493 this is the Fob with ON / OFF on the buttons
The T91R Fob has the number: LR07070 this is the one with HEATER SYMBOL / OFF on the buttons

Part of the problem is that some ebay sellers are trying to pass T91R Fobs off with the wrong part number, i.e. LR027493 instead of LR07070, and mistakenly call them T91 Fobs. Do an ebay search with the two different part numbers and you will see.

@nambFFRR, you will see that the packaging has the correct LR part number on it (LR027493), the Fob has ON / OFF buttons, so it is DEFINATELY a T91 Fob yet the sticker on the back of the Fob says T91R, when it obviously isn't!!

As I said...typical LR! Whistle

...perhaps LR ran out of T91 stickers and just started using T91R stickers instead of ordering more? Laughing
