OK, I spoke to one of the volunteer guides who is going to give me the intended route in the next couple of days, once the MOD finalise their schedules for next week. However, the anticipated meet point is near the village of Everleigh unless the MOD make radical changes to the published schedule.

So, from you lovely chaps I would do with a PM please, by monday evening if you are definitely attending. I will work on the basis of no PM meaning you won't attend. Apologies but I can't see how to make the CONFIRM thing in this event thread work so PM is the only way I can see of doing it accurately.

This is important so we keep within GLASS guides on group sizes for greenlaning and ensure we have enough group leaders/guides on the day. These guides are volunteers from a local LR club and they are giving up their time to help us out so I feel the least we can do is give them accurate numbers of those attending.

Also, something you may wish to think about privately, and I will leave it up to each individual to decide for themselves personally. I am going to make a donation to the local LR club to help towards the guides' fuel costs on the day. Each guide can take a max of 4 followers in the group so a tenner each would be a decent gesture I feel. 40 quids worth of fuel goes a decent way even with today's fuel costs. They haven't asked and are giving their time & fuel freely but I personally feel it is a good thing to do.

Lastly, anyone staying over at the CC site where I will be is invited for a barbie and beers. Site details below.

The confirm system works as 2nd button that says something like "Yes please (confirm)" on it for all those who signed up, it's in the top left of the list of all those signed up where you initially signed up. The second button replaces the initial sign up button

I will be there Sat evening and Sunday morning along with Jeremy and Barry from the LPR sales team. We will be in a silver Defender 90 soft-top, 110 G4 in orange (obviously) and a Lightweight. If you see us then it would be nice to stop and say hello.
