Binnacle is the part of the dash where the gauges are....

Binnacle was a term commonly used for the main instrument hosing on the Classic Range Rover. On those cars it was a small box like enclosure that sat ON TOP of the dash. On later cars (I think it was about the time they started importing them to the US) the instruments are part of the dash the same as most other cars. Old habits die hard! |
