Mike, the hinges have a slide lock on each side to lock the bonnet in that position and you would no longer need the block of wood sir... |

Thanks Craig, but I find the wood prop much easier whilst I am actually lifting the bonnet single handed, then using the locking function one side at a time whist I am actually working under the bonnet.
