Scuff plates

Hi all, hope you’ve had a good Christmas.

My scuff plates inside the doors look a bit tatty with various scratches etc, has anyone got any tips for cleaning them up rather than sourcing a replacement set from the scrappy?

Cheers

That’s a thought, i’d like to clean up the aluminium trim plates though. Going to try with a very mild abrasive and see what happens.

I removed the black tape on an early 322 set and the visual difference was amazing if that's what you remember Stan?

Good shout, I’ve found a metal polishing place near me, going to give them a call in the week.
