What's that big metal bar above the tailgate strap in the second picture ?

Its plastic Alistair and keeps the lower tailgate from closing... So a formed plastic stay |

Ah - got it - maybe I did have one of those & just never figured out what it was for - it does look kind of familiar now that I look at it properly |

I didn't realise it was available as a kit. I've just bought one from ebay for not much less, and it doesn't include the brace.

I have exactly the same problem since I changed my tyre size to 255 55 20.

I'm not sure why this question was asked. The various tyre/wheel combinations should all have the same overall diameter otherwise the effective gearing would be different. Ron B.
