No fair play, when I bought mine it had a chrome grill and mirrors and I just thought...why?

First thing I changed was the grill but now it’s time to sort the mirrors; I’m going to trade it up soon but I really can’t bear to look at them any longer.

Sorry to offend any chrome fans out there.

Personally... any type of plastic-chrome is an abomination and should be removed and burnt Smile

I've found WD40 can work quite well for weakening adhesive though - I don't think it'd have worked on that as it looks like some sort of thermo-plastic, but for stickers or adhesives it's worth a try! Smile

Mine were the same when I took them off my 07. I think they were an option from new so all seem to be stuck on with whatever that is. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Yup, I appreciate we all like different styles but those fake chrome bits, yeah very dated and not in a retro way. Luckily we don't see the chrome wheels arches too often these days.
