L322 parking sensors

Folks, hope the experts on here can help. My rear parking sensors have failed, I have replaced all the sensors in the rear bumper, I have also replaced the parking aid module, is there anything else I should check before suspecting the wiring to be at fault. The fronts have worked normally throughout the swap out process. Sorry if this question has been asked before, I did search but couldn’t find an issue like mine. The car is a 2011 TDV8. Thanks Malcolm.

It's common for the rear wiring loom from the sensors in the rear to wear through so well worth checking 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

I did check it when I replaced the sensors but looks like that’s my next port of call to revisit, thanks for the reply.

The wires for the rear parking sensors are pressed in place around some plastic tabs behind the rear bumper. Over time, the sheathing gets brittle and if it cracks/splits, the light gauge wires become exposed and can easily get frayed. A re-splice should fix this problem. 2010 RR SC

I would start by removing the rear bumper and check the wiring as that’s the normal fault ( if sensors are all good )

Can you hear the sensors ticking?
If they’re new and no ticking sound must be a connection/wire broken

Everything is pointing that way, thanks for the reply. Looks like the bumper is coming off again.

I had this on my TDV8, broken wire where the loom passed through a hole in the crash bar. ---------------------------------------
