Headphones not working: any ideas?

Hi,

I’ve recently joined the L322 club having bought a 2005 S/C. Very pleased with it so far and have already fitted NavTool/CarPlay.

BUT... It has the rear entertainment screens and came with what looked like mint headphones (still with cellophane on). But I can’t get them to receive any audio from the car: have changed batteries and tried all settings but no sound getting through at all.

Is there an obvious/known issue I’ve missed?

Many thanks,
John

Thanks - looks like the transmitter may well be the culprit - but holding the headphones close doesn’t work to verify that.

The photos on that wiki are no longer showing: wondering about trying to remove the transmitter cover without breaking it.
