I guess this confirms that it's not documented in the service manuals!

You can easily do it single handed if you have a suitable prop to hand ready to hold it vertical. I have used a brush in the past, but today just happened to have “Stan’s 4x2” to hand.

Don't attempt in a stiff breeze. Bonnet acts like a sail in the vertical position. Easy enough to do single handed, just have your wits about you! Previous cars:

Can be done single handed but only with "experience" from doing it first with a helper (SWMBO ) Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

I’m pretty sure it was in the P38A workshop manual - that’s how i found out about it. When i got the L322, I noticed it used the same method. Ron B. VK2OTC 2003 L322 V8 Auto 2007 Yamaha XJR1300 Previous: 1983, 1986 RRC; 1995, 1996 P38A; 1995 Disco1; 1984 V8 County 110; Series IIA |

The battery replacement YouTube video from Powerful UK pretty much walks you through it.
