I have seen the valance in sand for around £124 each side so £80 odd is less painful! but part of me fancies the challenge to ressurect the almost dead trim...maybe madness..

But the trim paint would also come in handy on the rear boot door pillars and maybe the door cards..has anyone tried this?

I've just done this job but couldn't get a paint code to match so I just got my local paint guy to mix me a can "to eye".

I had a few cracks in mine and the paint was wearing so I repaired the cracks with fiberglass, stripped the whole lot back to the plastic and primed and painted the whole thing, I think the paint cost me €10 and lots left to do a few other bits and pieces.

I haven't gotten around to putting it back on yet, will need a bit of work due to broken clips but happy with the way it turned out so far.

The colour match is pretty good but might look a little off due to the pictures being taken in different light.

My 2004 HSE driver's side is showing its age a bit here, and the seat squab side has collapsed a bit. I suspect that sliding my bum over the valance more directly may be the cause.
How easy is it to repair the seat squab?

If anyone can source the paint code that would be great. Looking to touch up my seat wear on the valance.
