The map lights weren't working on the car, I checked and replaced Fuse 57 as it had blown. The fuse has since gone again whilst the car was in the garage last week. I have replaced it again so it looks like I might need to do more investigation.

I notice the manual stated that Fuse 57 also covered battery saver circuits. Despite a search I cant find anything on typical causes. Does anyone have any ideas what the saver circuits are. I might swap the bulbs out to see if there are any blowing.

Hi, I have the same issue in that I have no front map lights. Also have no heated rear seats working which I'm sure is linked to the battery saver system ie the car has switched off the seats to protect the battery. Once had a battery drain and noticed the map lights were on and the rear heated seats started to light up and work ! Charged the battery up and no rear heated seats and no front map lights ! I'm sure it's an earth issue and don't think it's a common problem.

Was your fuse 57 blown?

I checked every single fuse and none were blown.

Well I have checked and replaced all of the bulbs in the car and the fuse. It all seems to be ok? I can’t see anything dodgy so will have to wait and see.
