Not fitted as original. Mine has a second battery fitted, can be very useful. DIY but pro. |

Thanks for that, good to know mine is not on its own. I presume it is for the entertainment side of things. Would I be right in saying, if I remove the main battery I will not lose the codes |

I can only speak for my 2004 but when changing the battery no codes etc lost at all. I presume it is the same for all years as I've never seen a post regarding a problem. |

I would suggest it's "electrically unlikely" that removing the second battery would cause you to need to re-enter any codes, my logic being that the cars electrical systems are 12 volts and hence, the batteries must be wired in parallel.
