Thanks everyone. The moment I woke up this morning I was straight out to check for any fluid on the floor and to make sure the suspension hadn't dropped at all. It seems to have made it through the night without issue. Hopefully the paranoia will subside at some point!

Had another look and can't see/smell any issue. It does look like oil was just splashed on a previous filter change as the oil marks I can see look ancient and are only by the filter. I'm going to clean it down though to see if anything reappears as I'd rather address the issue if there is one. There is no oil or oily film in the coolant etc. Matt. |

Is it "bone dry" underneath? That's a big giveaway for an cooler issues. Mind you I had a leaky 2nd turbo too which added to the symptoms

Ah now that's the next stage of the question that I hope to confirm the answer to asap. Bone dry with undertrays in place and having looked right down the back of the engine onto said trays.
