Mine are continental... And to answer your question? I don’t have a preference as this is the only set I’ve used! BUT, these are incredibly on snow and ice 🧊 |

I cant decide if I should go 20" or 21" for winter wheels as I'm moving in 12-18 months a bit further north and think a bigger profile and winter tyres would be wise for local country driving all smug in my new plug! 2021 Westminster Black D300 2013 Vogue SE - gone Some Porsche Cayenne guff pretending to be a 4x4!! 2006 Vogue 2004 Vogue 2001 Vogue |

OR The marketing wallah was drinking Coca Cola at the time..... Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

How much do they retail at or how much did I pay??? Hmmm well, Khan were retailing them at around £3999 I believe? I payed £800 for the wheels, freshly powder coated in black and advertised on fleabay! The tyres were a steel at £300 fitted! Again another fleabay purchase! 👍 |

Not bad that. Looks like they are doing them for 1440 for the wheels....might even be cheaper if you called them I guess....cant see many 23" wheels flying out the door right now..... I'd say around £250 a corner for tyres on top but a nice set for 2500 new all smug in my new plug!

I had a puncture on the off side rear tyre, which was repaired but still leaked (v slowly) and I started to get a vibration which I assume was because they had to cut some of the foam away. So I've had 4 x Scorpion Zero A/S fitted and kept the front 2 tyres (just over 5mm tread) as spares. More to stop the law of sod giving me another puncture, as that's bound not to happen if I've got 2 tyres in the garage!

Was wondering if it is ok to mix the Verde and Zero tyres, as I am considering upgrading to the zeros but don't want to change all 4 at once. Maybe the fronts first, and then the backs? Tom

I’ve ran the Pirelli Scorpion Verde 22’s with “PNCS” system for the past year, and agree they are very quiet, comfortable (for 22’s) and great grip and braking in the wet and dry alike, maybe not the same ultimate grip as the Zero’s but its not a sports car, and hopefully “Verde” means more miles for your money. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that? |

Older tyres may not have the noise-cancelling system (foam) look on the sidewall of the tyre directly under the letters “PI” in SCORPION, it should be embossed “PNCS”, useful if you’re offered tyres at a discount, they may be old stock. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that? |
