I think mine needs doing as well, getting rumble from centre of the car when under constant load or under acceleration.

Where did you source the bearing from? And how much was it?

There seems to be some confusion some quote 02 - 09 and some 02 - 12 mines an 11, but guessing they are all the same anyone know?

LR Parts sell the entire shaft including the bearing for 271 plus vat, wondering if its worth / easier to swap the whole thing, they also sell the bearing for 22 +vat.

How easy was it to swap the bearing out and separate the propshaft.

Mine was an absolute b**tard to split, took longer to split than to get the entire shaft off of the motor !! Had to use more heat than I would have liked so am now hoping that hasn't affected the center u/j.
With hindsight I would have swapped the entire shaft.

I think I will just buy the whole shaft then, that will make it quite a simple job.

Hardest bit will be taking exhaust off or trying to get the heat shields out without destroying them.

I don't know the definitive answer as to whether rear prop centre bearings can be replaced seperately on post 2007 cars - But I'd like to know myself now!

I just happened to be on Advanced Factors website buying a few bits for my early L322 and they list a separate centre bearing upto 6Axxxxxx and from 7A (2007) onwards all they offer is a complete prop? As below:

Does anyone know why that is, does it mean that the 2007 onwards prop can't / shouldn't be split?

Mine is 2012 and I managed to obtain and fit the center bearing! only issue was rust in the center spline which made splitting difficult.
