For a short run I would be OK with that. I am looking at changing my spare for a 255.50.20 for the following reason: |

Thanks for that. Ordered one to replace the damage and will, get another once I have had wheel refurbed and put in spare.

You might have to cancel MOT permanently if the tester notices that you are running 255/55/20 as they were never in the size specifications parameters on the data bases for an L322! "thus, FAIL" Tis ridiculous I know, but I had an ML failed for the same type of issue, over here on the Chassis/EU data-base. Although I can believe a tyre size difference might cause a FAIL in France or Germany, its not likely in UK as they never check what was homolgated for the vehicle.

Agree. They don’t check in the UK but I would inform your insurance company. That’s my plan when I go 55 profile |

Been through two CTs, Rich with no comment. I’m thinking of going to 255/50/20 next time I get tyres for the reasons I mentioned above. John
