Are the lights on said new trailer tent LED? The car may not see the LED's? Do the lights work when its plugged in? Including turn signals? |

Hi Craig, everything works perfectly except the car sensing there is a trailer attached. The trailer tent is brand new and yes all lights are LED.

Does the car have a dedicated wiring kit or is it a universal wiring kit? If the latter then it won’t recognise the trailer.

The car has the factory fit folding tow bar. No trailer pic flashes with indicators. Must be something to do with LED lights as I’ve hired older trailers and the trailer pic comes up straight away when attached. 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

Jase, that’ll be your issue then sir... Your FF won’t see a trailer with pure LEDs! I.E. without any load resistance! Certain trailer lights come can bus friendly! Others do not! I believe it’s just your brake lamp circuit of the trailer the car looks for! So try an incandescent bulb in that circuit first to prove the theory sir 👍 |

Yes as Craig said if you have the factory kit then it will be down to the LED lights.

Looking on google I think there is a piece of kit that goes on the trailer by a company called ‘Sargent’..must be a resistive device to take more load. 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel
