Hi all,

Hope you are all good, just managed to pick up a 2010 black rr vogue with under 50k miles so drives well and the condition is great.

However it’s a Range Rover lol, had it 2 days and had false alarms this evening while parked up. The temperature has been hot today and now cooling down so after some research on here I have unplugged the bonnet sensor and I will see what happens. Also only locked it on the single button so the interior sensors are off so fingers crossed. If I don’t get a repeat for 2-3 days I will start double locking again and if that lasts another 2-3 days I will make sure the bonnet latch is pushed further down after a clean and re-introduce that.

If all else fails I shall probably just cry and do another search Smile

Hopefully here for a long time as love the vehicle and always wanted one for the dogs, family, bikes and general usefulness whilst still being a great vehicle to drive in.

Lee

United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Corris Grey
Long time lurker

Hi All,

I've come over from defender2.net back in the day. Just put a deposit on a lovely 2018 SDV8 Autobiography, only done 9K miles so still box fresh and looking forward to picking it up in the next week or so.

Just want to say thank you as the forum was a great help in informing my purchasing decision and I waited a long time for the right spec car to come up, and even then I will have to make a 650 mile round trip to pick it up.

See you on the road.

You're in for a treat, towing with a Full Fat. I was amazed at the difference between my D2 and my L322!

Dunc. The life you have is the only one you'll get; make the most of it.

Scotland 2009 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue
Howdy!

Hi, Very Happy

Just joined up this morning. Years ago, I owned a few LRs (Series 2a, 110), V8 Disco (LPG'd), Classic Vogue LSE, and a 1991 Vogue SE (LPG'd). Then seven years on the dark side with a 3.2 CLK and a 3 ltr S-Type, I'm delighted to be back as a RR owner with a 2009, 3.6 TD V8 Vogue.

England 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue

Hello everyone,

I’ve been an LR guy for as long as I can remember. I’ve had at least one version of all the models. But when it came to the RR my only experience was with a very, very rusty 1989 3.9 V8. So when my family out grew our FL1 there was really only one vehicle I was looking for. Took a few months, but I finally found my 2007 RR S/C! Absolutely love it.

Switzerland

Hi all

High time I registered as a member on this excellent site.

I ran a 2007 3.6 TDV8 until last month when it finally hit a snag that wasn't worth the cost of repair. The car had by then done over 330,000 km, of which I myself had done the last 250,000 km, and it almost never let me down. I can certainly attest that if you look after these excellent cars, they will look after you.

Living in the middle of Europe, everywhere seems to be just a day's drive away. In what other car in the world can you load it to the gunwhales with boat (or baby) kit in Mediterranean heat, drive 1000km in serene Rolls Royce comfort, then hit the Alps in a snowstorm and drive half way up a mountain still wearing flip flops because (Cayennes and some Audis excepted), the Range Rover is the only car able to get up the hill without needing to stop for chains? Utterly brilliant car!

The downside with Switzerland is that labour (ie, garage) prices are fiercely expensive. Therefore I do most routine servicing and bug fixing myself, although i leave to (trusted) pros any open heart jobs on the engine or heavy duty suspension/steering work.

So ... last month I unexpectedly found myself trading in the 2007 3.6 for a 2011 4.4 TDV8. 8 speed box, even better economy with more power, wooohooo. And it's only got 170k km on the clock - just run in Smile

This is an excellent forum - well done all of you who have contributed so much knowledge to the rest of us trying to keep these amazing vehicles rocking and rolling. Thank you!

Hello, new user

Hi all,

Just thought I'd introduce myself on here, as a new user to fullfatrr.com.

I'm also a member of Disco3.co.uk since 2005, having previously had a couple of D3's (username on there is Jonno).

We own two L322's, an early 2002 4.4 V8 and a 2011 TDV8 4.4 - fantastic cars wouldn't be without one.

Also have a project 1992 RR Classic which is off the road at the moment awaiting a restoration (when I get time!)

Previous LR's have included, SIII, 90, 110 Isuzu County (Aus), Disco 3's x 2.

I've referenced this excellent site many times over the past few years, thought it was about time I joined and contributed.

Jon

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Hi everyone

Just bought myself a 2009 Vogue. I’ve had so much help and advice from the Defender forum so a bit of a no brainier to join this one too (I still have the Defender).

Looking forward to tapping into the expertise and contributing where I can, hopefully this won’t turn into an expensive hobby Confused

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Mariana Black

Hi all!

I come from a Range Rover family so after owning a Mini Cooper SD for a while, I decided I needed a bigger car... I've had my TDV8 Vogue for around 8 months now and I couldn't imagine driving anything else!

Definitely comes in handy when you have three fully grown Labradors Laughing

If there are any tips or tricks, please let me know!

Zack
