Pretty sure they are run flat but will see tomorrow. The Scorpion Zero are named m&s on the tyre but it doesn’t seem to mention it in the blurb

Here’s the family page outlining the differences https://www.pirelli.com/tyres/en-gb/car/ca...y/scorpion

Sorry, I meant the 3PMSF (three-peak mountain snowflake) on the sidewall rather than just M&S. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Put on 4 new Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season 275/45/21 with PNCS before the summer, and they are really quiet and comfortable! Don't think they are Run flat, though.

Drove up to Glasgow yesterday and had a bit of aquaplaning with the Avons but they are at 4 mm so will change them this week - might just go back to originals as it rolls a but on the 255 55 's Maybe I ask too much from it Whistle

My Nexens are marginally noisier than the Contis they replaced, but get used to it after 6 years. No regrets. Previous cars:

Got the tyres fitted this morning .. all good , too early to compare the noise reduction if any but I already like the ride with the additional sidewall. It’s like being on my old 19” winter rims
As the guys above said , they are not run flat despite what it says all over the Pirelli website. I’ll be dropping them an email about that ...
Was a bit tight in the spare wheel well with the new 55 profile but it all went back in

Got this response from a nice lady at Pirelli

I have taken a look and I can see where the confusion lies on the second link. However, it is listing the Runflat and PNCS technology as it is available in some sizes for this particular product but unfortunately, not all. The runflat technology in the Scorpion Zero All Season pattern, is produced in the following sizes:

275/45R20 110H
265/50R19 110H
275/45R20 110H
265/50R19 110H
295/45ZR20 (110Y)

If you were to search by size, it is much clearer on which products are available in this size and also what vehicles they are suitable for (each description would note the extra technology such as run-flat).

https://www.pirelli.com/tyres/en-gb/car/ca...R20?page=2

I apologise for the confusion and for any inconvenience caused. 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back

I use Avons for summer tyres and swap them for Falken winter tyres from November to March. I don't think the Db ratings mean much in the real world, as I find the Falkens run more quietly than the Avons in spite of the fact they are supposed to be1Db noisier.
