Just had a similar issue in my 2016 MY AB. Except stuck in folded / flat position. Cannot hear any motor whirring!

That looks like water contamination and then corrosion of the connectors . Get this type of spray and a cut down clean paint brush and clean and it should be OK . But a main dealer may want to cut the connector out and get a new loom at big cost .

That's a huge amount of corrosion , use old tooth brush as well .if some components have dissolved you may have to get a new module .Best of luck |

ebay has these for around £40 upwards...although the part number ends in 'AA' and not 'AB'.. ... - .- -.

Whether you can fix the original module or have to get a new one , it's absolutely vital that you find the source of the water / drink before you go much further .At least if you have to get a new module from the UK you won't have to pay our VAT ( sales tax ) |
