I use this mount on the passenger air vent and it is very good. I use a wired connection to facilitate Apple CarPlay.

Genuine question, why do you need to mount your phone? Especially if you use CarPlay, as its all on the screen anyway. I understand adara's solution, as that's more about charging, but I don't remember seeing a mount that isn't ugly or made ugly when the wire is trailing down.

Where do you put your phone when it’s connected to a wire for Apple CarPlay? MY23 D350 HSE

The problem with the car cup holder phone holders with the facelift MY18 onwards, is that you then can’t access the storage below the cup holders which I use often. That’s why I went for a vent holder. MY23 D350 HSE

I use a combination of a Brodit clip and a wireless charger from Amazon that I dismantled and attached to the clip.
https://www.brodit.co.uk/brodit/vehicles/L...654909.htm https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B075M6...&psc=1 I did need to drill a hole through the clip, but other than that straight forward ![]() |

On such a hot day as today I ripped off the vent mounted phone holder... stops the airflow!

Bill, I have mine on the passenger vent. My wife dislikes cold air blown straight on her face. I love it |
