Caravan brake lights don’t work

A neighbour has a new RR Sport, he’s just hooked up to his van, and all the lights work with the exception of the brake lights.
I’ve put my ff on and everything is ok, I did have to use an adaptor, as my ff has twin sockets, his sport obviously has single 13 pin.
Any ideas chaps?
Cheers

From what you’ve said, the caravan seems to be ok but there is an issue with either the connector or wiring on his car.

How new is it ?

Call LR Assistance ? They need someone to test the car.

Anywhere that fits towbars also probably has a plug in tester.....

You can buy a 13-pin trailer socket tester ;

there are probably cheaper alternatives.

Is it possible that the that the trailer brake lights circuit is fused separately ? Is there a possible LED/Bulb comparability issue ?

Otherwise it's a case of checking the pin connections carefully & then tracing through. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

I had a similar problem with the first L405 I had a few years ago. I got the AA and there were fuses blown. They were located behind the glovebox. Range Rover Sport 2023 D350 Autobiography
